It has been a busy few months. I have been writing, reading and reviewing my new novel The Valley of Ravens, planning the next novel (yes, already) and working between times on three other projects which at the moment are still under wraps.
As well as all that I have been so pleased to see the re-issue of several more Audio versions of my earlier titles, nearly all of which, being set in ancient by-gone days, have needed consultations, initially with me, but sometimes, when I haven’t been able even to guess the answers to their questions, with learned professors and language experts on how to pronounce the names I so happily select for my characters and for the places where they lived. Our readers are brilliant and experts at the way they tell these stories but sometimes those Celtic and Saxon names can stump everybody!
It is nearly time for the launch of the Valley of Ravens, and the design team at my publishers have produced a dramatic and lovely jacket which you can now see.
